Tactical Development Group
Training Doctrine
Our Subject Matter Experts draw from a deep well of experience based on years of real world operations on 5 continents. The training we provide is a reflection of this experience. Tactical Development Group SimLabs use the most high fidelity training equipment available including wound simulators and weapon training systems utilized by USSOCOM. Our instructors will refine and shape the students responses to stress and seek to prepare them for armed violence in the most comprehensive way possible. Our methodology seeks to eliminate the cognitive disconnects in training that turn into fatal lapses under fire. Every program we offer is designed to ensure proper form, proper function, and realistic downrange application.
Courses from the BattleLab
Our instructors have worked on multiple continents and served in many conflict zones from Africa to the Middle East and South West Asia. We do not believe in One Size Fits None training and our programs reflect that. The classes listed in our Lab series are strictly outlines to give the student an idea of what to expect

We developed and fielded one of the earliest T3C medical programs in the country. In 1998 the curriculum for the Tactical First Aid course was written at the UTHSCSA with input from 18-D Operators and has evolved constantly since. Our medical programs are all based on evidence based research and sound field experience. All protocols are approved by Tactical and Emergency Room physicians and meet or exceed the ATLS, PHTLS and Tactical Combat Casualty Care standards.

This program teaches the civilian shooter how to manage the natural end point of armed violence; The knife and gunshot ound. By focusing on the most manageable lethal injuries and their treatments, our students will be better prepared to provide rapid care to themselves, a friend, or a loved one should violence occur. Tac1Aid utilizes the most up to date information on hemostatic powders like Quickclot, HEMCON and Celox, the use of Tourniquets in the field, trauma management and shock prevention. Regardless of whether it's caused by a car accident, a negligent discharge, or an active shooter, physics has the same predictable effects on the human body. This class is simply a must for any armed citizen, RSO, hunter, or outdoorsman.

Whether on Patrol or performing a high risk Warrant Service, law enforcement is inherently dangerous. Every year criminal assailants kill officers in the line of duty. While uncommon, events such as the North Hollywood bank Robbery illustrate situations that more resemble military direct action than Law Enforcement. One only needs to look at the events of 2008 in Mumbai India to see one likely scenario where police could have to face off with heavily armed and trained Jihaddis. DOR teaches how to manage the medical response to an active shooter scenario where officers have been injured and EMS is not available. This course focuses on treating the most immediate life threatening injuries to likely be sustained in a gunfight and extrication techniques to move wounded officers to safety where they can secure care and transport to a trauma center.
